What are wiping rags?
Wiping rags are textiles recovered from the used-clothing stream and prepared for cleaning work: wiping down machinery, mopping up oil and solvent, cleaning presses, general janitorial use. They come from garments that are past wearing but perfectly good as absorbent cloth, which is the last useful life of a shirt before it becomes waste.
What types do you supply?
White knit and colored knit, in bulk. White knit is the choice where colour transfer matters — paint shops, auto body, print work, anything going over a finished surface. Colored knit is the general-purpose workhorse and costs less. We can supply either, or both, depending on what your crews actually use.
How are they packed and shipped?
In boxes or bales, sized to how you consume them. We are in Phoenix, Arizona, so trucking across the Southwest is short and cheap, and we load containers on site for export customers. Tell us the volume and the destination and we will quote the freight with it rather than after.
What quantity do I have to order?
Wiping rags move in smaller bulk quantities than our container business, so this is not a 50,000-pound conversation. What makes sense depends on the type and your burn rate — send the monthly consumption figure and we will tell you what a sensible order looks like.
